Carmelo Anthony‘s wife, La La Anthony, shut down cheating rumors after it was alleged on Instagram this week that she had an affair with rapper Maino.
The saga began when Maino’s ex-girlfriend, a woman named Patrice E, accused the former MTV VJ of cheating with the rapper.
“How does it feel to be the slut responsible for his daughter never waking up to her father again,” she wrote on Instagram in now-deleted posts. “@lala does your husband know that your hoe ass has been f—king my daughters father. That you slept over his house the other night after the movies.”
In another Instagram update that has since been deleted, Patrice referred to the mother of one as a “typical married slut.”
A rep for the Power actress, 32, told Us Weekly on Friday, Aug. 21, that all accusations of infidelity were not true. La La also took to her Instagram to mock the rumors with a guest appearance from her NBA superstar husband, who plays for the New York Knicks.
“All eyes on us,” the New York Times bestselling author wrote alongside a video of the pair mimicking Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, and Chris Brown‘s “All Eyes on You” music video. In the clip, her husband sits in front of her while she mocks their critics.
La La (nee Vazquez) and Carmelo married in a luxe July 2010 wedding ceremony, which they shared exclusively with Us Weekly at the time. Guests at the wedding included Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, and Serena Williams. The couple share an 8-year-old son, Kiyan.
